Servelec HSC is pleased to announce the UK launch of Signs of Safety in Mosaic, its leading social care case management solution for Children’s, Adults and Finance services on a single platform.

Servelec has collaborated with Munro, Turnell & Murphy, and is the Lead Development Partner in the UK for Signs of Safety. The dynamic partnership aims to revolutionise social care practice putting children at the centre of Children’s Services.

Signs of Safety is a constantly evolving approach to children’s needs which focuses on practice, tools and methods that make a real difference for practitioners and families facing the complex issues of child wellbeing and safety.

The launch of Signs of Safety in Mosaic was marked with an event in London showcasing the benefits and approach of Signs of Safety and how the key principles are embedded in Servelec’s case management solution, Mosaic, to join up social work practice with IT.

Dr Andrew Turnell, at Munro, Turnell & Murphy, said:

“The partnership with Servelec is an exciting moment as we create the capacity to provide organisations, practitioners, managers and leaders the recording tools to track the use and implementation of Signs of Safety. The work with Servelec provides the platform for us to partner with local authorities to undertake further development so that we have IT systems that practitioners will want to use because it will help them do their work and make a difference for children and families.”

Working in partnership, Servelec and Munro, Turnell & Murphy have created the Signs of Safety Mosaic case management solution including forms, dashboards and a collaborative audit tool, providing end to end support for this innovative practice model whilst ensuring all legislative and statutory requirements are met. The work undertaken reflects the key learns from the England Innovation Project, an initiative funded by the Innovations Project Grant.

Pippa Young, Children’s Strategy Lead, at Servelec, said:

“We are delighted that Servelec is leading the way to deliver Signs of Safety in Mosaic and making IT work for social care practitioners today.  It is believed to be the first time that an IT system has been developed around a practice model. The UK launch event was a great success in demonstrating to local authorities the investment Servelec is making to continuously develop its products and services.  Our unique partnership with Munro, Turnell & Murphy demonstrates how crucial IT is in supporting practice implementation to provide the best outcomes for children.”
