Servelec Healthcare completes the Tough Mudder Challenge for charity

Servelec Healthcare celebrates another successful year of completing the Tough Mudder challenge and raising money for a worthy cause – the Meningitis Research Foundation.

The team from Servelec Healthcare in Sheffield completed the Tough Mudder challenge; a gruelling 12 mile obstacle course which included underwater swimming, muddy lakes, wall climbs and electric shocks.

In total the team raised an impressive £1,767.50 including Gift Aid.  As part of Servelec Group’s ongoing commitment to our local community, employees actively engage with charity fundraising throughout the year. Where possible, the Group matches donations to charitable causes or provides support and equipment where required to partake in charity activities.

Sue Hawkswell, Managing Director for Servelec Healthcare, commented:

“I am, once again, extremely proud of our Servelec Healthcare team who have given their time, energy and efforts to raise money for a very worthy cause.  This is a fantastic showcase of the team spirit and hard work we embody in getting through the challenges presented during the Tough Mudder course. We have raised a significant amount for our chosen charity this year - the Meningitis Research Foundation, and I hope we raise even more at our next fundraising event.”
